Wow, that’s sad. They were indeed one of the best. Rock music was in a very low state in the 00’s (and still is), but Anberlin was one of the bright lights, similar to The Gaslight Anthem. Enormously talented, especially Anberlin’s vocalist. I was hoping that they would stay around for decades and become a classic rock touring band! Oh well, guess not.

I anticipate some solo work coming from Stephen Christian.
Like with P.O.D, I respect Anberlin for steering around the CCM tag – i.e: aiming away from the false dichotomy between the sacred and secular.
