Sorry the updates have been non-existent for the past few weeks. Ongoing renovation work requiring my close attention, and trying to adjust to a change in writing routine, has thrown me for a six.

On the latter. Some BIG changes.

My weekly column for Dads 4 Kids will be shifting to once a month.

I’m extremely grateful to the team for the past 2.5 years. I’m also thankful for how this opportunity has stretched me as a man, father, Christian and writer.

They’ve been especially gracious with me pushing the boundaries in an attempt to reach fathers and men with masculine pieces full of blunt, gutsy content.

I won’t go into all the reasons for the change.

Suffice to say, I’ve never seen myself as a dedicated daddy blogger, nor have I ever been very good with fluffy “show and tell” pieces.

It’s not all bad news.

For now, I will be shifting to The Canberra Declaration’s Daily Declaration, writing a column there once a week, while maintaining my volunteer commitments to the mighty Caldron Pool.
