Cancel Culture does not make for Stable Foreign Policy

Cancel Culture should not determine or lead the West’s foreign policy on Putin. It unfairly demonises Russians, and backs Putin and his “war party” regime into a corner. As the former MI6 chief, Sir John Sawers, recently told Oxford Union, the result of doing so will be catastrophic.

Cancel Culture mentality, coupled with war fever on both sides, could very well trigger a nuclear response from Putin.

Hence the need to tread carefully.

Cancel Culture is not a stable foreign policy. It should be kept as far away from international diplomacy as possible. Let Courage Culture – the willingness to bring truth up against falsehoods, regardless of criticism or applause – win the day.
